Navjiven Mandair - Principal Solicitor

Navjiven is the principal and the owner of The Legal Practice Solicitors. She has many years’ experience working in the UK and as an attorney in an international law firm in the USA. 

Whilst working in New York City, Navjiven was part of a team working on complex matters for a Brazilian oil company as well as working on lengthy protracted litigation matters for multinational companies. 

Navjiven worked with a number of highly regarded American attorneys and took an active role in consular matters at the United Nation offices. Navjiven was previously elected as a member of the Professional Ethics Committee at Brent Council and was part of a panel who made decisions on ethics concerning councillors.

Navjiven advises businesses of all sizes on their employment and business matters. Navjiven is an approved legal supplier of services to dentists and represents dentists in transactions involving buying and selling dental practices. In addition, Navjiven acts as the legal advisor in employment matters for a number of large companies and is also the nominated solicitor for organisations and deals with a variety of legal concerns in everyday business operations. 

Navjiven has expertise in dealing with settlement and compromise agreements and provides informative talks at companies advising on employment policy.

Priti Mehta - Licensed Conveyancer

Priti has worked in the legal profession for over 25 years and heads the property division of The Legal Practice Limited. 

She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in a wide range of commercial real estate work. 

She also deals with residential sales, purchases, re-mortgages, gifts and transfers of residential properties. Priti has the understanding to balance the objectives of the clients with the overall property obligations. 

She is highly regarded by her clients and is thoroughly committed to providing an excellent level of service in all her property transactions.

Dharmini Chudasama - Trainee Solicitor

Dharmini originally came to the practice in 2013 to participate in her legal placement and has since returned having completed her Law LLB at Brunel University. 

She is currently studying at The University of Law in order to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC LLM) whilst undergoing her training contract.

Dharmini works as part of the property department to assist with a range of transactions involving homes, which includes sale, purchase, transfer, commercial conveyancing, re-mortgage or landlord and tenant matters. 

With the aim of providing client-tailored services and ensure transactions are as stress-free as possible, Dharmini offers an efficient service to all her clients. She is also available to assist with drafting of wills.

Ritika Chandock - Senior Paralegal

After graduating from Brunel University with an LLB Hons degree, Ritika joined The Legal Practice in 2008 as a junior legal assistant providing support on a range of matters including litigation, employment and probate. 

Ritika is now a senior property paralegal specialising in residential property sales and assisting Elizabeth Craig and Priti Mehta on a range of conveyancing matters. 

Ritika has a caring and diligent approach and continues to receive positive feedback from our clients.

Abby Young - Trainee Solicitor

Abby spent her one-year placement with The Legal Practice whilst at Brunel University and returned in June 2015 after graduating with a 2.1.

She is currently studying at the University of Law part time in order to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC LMM) whilst undergoing her training contract with the benefit of having two years’ legal experience. She works closely with Navjiven Mandair having worked in property, probate and family law areas within The Legal Practice and has gained a wealth of experience across the board. 

Abby is resourceful and practical with an ability to see the bigger picture and therefore assist clients in a very pragmatic approach. She has an efficient and personable approach to matters and is enjoying the everyday client contact and being supportive to clients in stressful situations. 

Muhammad Haron - Probate Executive

Muhammad has been with The Legal Practice for over 9 years. Muhammad is associated with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. 

Muhammad was selected for a prestigious scholarship award to complete a BSc in Engineering at Imperial College, London. Muhammad enjoys dealing with all types of probate matters and is particularly keen to get stuck into the messy ones! 

Muhammad regularly works on small estates as well as estates worth in excess of £5 million. He has successfully advised clients on the practice and procedures of probate and has been commended for his thorough approach with dealing with estates. 

Muhammad is keen to build up his knowledge in probate and is presently pursuing his STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates.

Amanda Heavyside - Elderly Client Advisor

Amanda Heavyside has been with The Legal Practice since January 2016, having previously managed the administrative support provided on a large public/private contract. 

Amanda has previously worked in HR management dealing with a multitude of people and legal issues. Since joining the Legal Practice, Amanda has concentrated on working with elderly client matters and is now responsible for managing elderly clients affairs. 

Amanda’s efficient style along with her personable nature has made her very popular with elderly clients and Amanda thoroughly enjoys her time helping members of the older community.

Victoria Evans - Paralegal

Victoria joined The Legal Practice in 2016 and is currently embarking on a career change, eager to gain relevant experience during her studies of Law. 

Coming from an IT Consultancy, she has a strong professional services background and has worked with a range of clients including FTSE 100 companies and individuals.

Victoria prides herself on her personable approach and strives to provide both the highest client care and excellent support to the legal teams at the practice. Working closely with Navjiven Mandair, Victoria makes use of her efficiency and coordination abilities and is keen to gain as much legal exposure as possible. 

She aims to never shy away from new tasks in order to support the practice’s growth as well as her own goal of becoming a successful solicitor.

Laura Sasman - Accounts Manager

Laura is a freelancer and has over 20 years Accounting and 13 years Legal Accounting experience. She is a registered member of the ILFM and has collected her certifications in SRA rules and VAT for Legal Accounting, ensuring adherence to money laundering requirements as well. 

Laura has successfully completed specialised assignments at prestigious leading firms such as Mishcon de Reya, Simmons & Simmons, Meyer Brown Rowe and Maw Solicitors. She is particularly known for having achieved successful outcomes with assisting in both SRA and VAT Inspections at her firms as well as assisting with software conversions. Laura provides both management accounting and bookkeeping services to a diverse range of clients ongoing and ensures the SRA compliance obligations are met in writing where necessary. 

In her spare time she enjoys doing fencing and travelling and has recently returned from Egypt. 

Denniese Rabino - Paralegal

Denniese came to the practice as a placement student from Brunel University in 2016 and has gained an array of experience providing support in both family and property matters. 

Denniese’s dedication has meant that she has secured a training contract at The Legal Practice and will be returning upon completion of her LLB honours degree.
