The Legal Practice draws on a wide range of experienced staff including solicitors, paralegals and support staff. Our staff speak a number of languages including Spanish, French, Greek, Punjabi, Gujurati and Mandarin.

Navjiven Mandair Principal

Navjiven, the principal solicitor and owner of The Legal Practice, qualified as a solicitor over 12 years ago and has many years experience practicing as a solicitor in the UK and also as an Attorney in the United States. As the Principal of TLP, she continues to lead the practice as it grows and builds on its strong local reputation.

She is a full member of 'Solicitors for the Elderly' (SFE), a national association of lawyers, whose aim is to improve the knowledge and service provided on legal issues that are particularly relevant to elderly people. Navjiven works closely with care homes, advising both carers and their residents. She advises on a variety of family matters, including Wills & Probate and Enduring Power of Attorney.

Navjiven also advises companies and professional practices across the Healthcare and Dental sectors, steering them through a wide range of commercial and contractual issues - buying and selling practices, restructuring, partnership disputes and contracts.

She works with Brent Pensioners Forum assisting with elderly client matters and giving presentations and providing legal clinics. Navjiven is also a speaker on care home event days and is also proud to work with Age Concern.

Elizabeth J. M.M. Craig Practising Consultant

Elizabeth is a specialist solicitor in residential and high net worth commercial conveyancing. Elizabeth set up Craig & Co. in 1964 and with over 40 years experience is able to offer an extremely high level of legal expertise and professionalism within her field. Elizabeth heads up the Conveyancing Department and her experience together with her friendly and approachable manner ensures that clients continue to return to The Legal Practice year after year.

Emma Peart Family and Litigation Solicitor

Emma Peart completed an undergraduate degree in European Business Law and French in Dundee and Orleans University in France. She worked in Spain before undertaking her Common Professional Exams and The Legal Practice Course at at London Metropolitan University.

Emma gained specialist Family Law experience whilst working for a prominent Family practice in the East End prior to qualifying as a solicitor at The Legal Practice. She advises in a broad range family work, especially the children aspects of divorce and issues surrounding ex pat divorces. She also advises on co-habitation rights and civil partnerships. She has extensive experience of dealing with complex financial arrangements following the breakdown of a relationship. Emma has advised on pre and post nuptial agreements as well as separation agreements.

Emma also has extensive litigation expertise and advises on property, civil and commercial litigation.

Emma is an affiliate member of Resolution and also does voluntary work at Crisis Charity. In addition, she raises funds for Cancer Research by participating in Race for Life. She is also member of the Turner Syndrome Society and is an active member of Brent Business Watch which raises important issues relating to businesses operating in the Wembley Park area.

Audrey English Senior Probate Executive

Audrey has substantial experience dealing with complex Probate matters and preparation of Wills.

Priti Mehta Legal Assistant to Miss Craig

Priti has assisted Miss Craig with a number of complex commercial conveyancing transactions and enjoys the challenging and sometimes urgent nature of this work. Priti has worked in the legal profession for over 15 years.

Ritika Sawhney Paralegal

Ritika completed her Law degree (LLB) and joined The Legal Practice in January 2008 as a Paralegal assisting with Litigation and Employment Law matters. She also assists with office management.

Muhammad Haron Cashier

Muhammad completed a Masters in Electrics and Electrical Engineering (MEng) at Imperial College London. Muhammad is enrolled at Kaplan Accountants School and is currently pursing the ACCA qualifications.

When Muhammad is not working or studying, he enjoys spending time with his baby son Mizan.
